Teachers can maintain the following preferences.

School system policies vary, but some teachers maintain a special e-mail box to communicate with parents. An e-mail account may be provided by the school district or by the teacher.
The GetMyHomework browser interface for teachers provides optional access to any POP3 e-mail system. POP3 is the most common e-mail access type and allows access to almost any standard e-mail box.
GetMyHomework is NOT an e-mail system, but provides a convenient technique to access e-mail stored on other, POP3 compliant e-mail systems.
